Main Article Content
Abstract
To face the problem of people as active participants in international life is a challenge intellectualy atractive but also quite compkicated. We must accept that we lack of a theory about the role developed by the individual as a subject of international society and the ability to hide our ignorance about the individual as a subject of virtual society through speculative clichés is remarkable. This article presents five aspects to address the theme: An historical perspective of Leadership: Charismatic military leader and prophets versus monarchs and popes. From the legal recognition of a person in the State to the international legal recognition of a person. The Globalisation process and the Virtual Society. The massive individualism and its impact over international life. The limited contributions of Social Sciences to the analysis of individuals as subjects of international life.
