Constructive Simulation: training in planning and decision-making in Disaster Risk Management (DRM)

Abstract

The simulation is increasingly present day by day in our lives, either in any of its 3 modes:
– Simulation of life: real people use simulated equipment in the real world.
– Virtual simulation: real people use simulated equipment in virtual worlds or virtual environments.
– Constructive Simulation: simulated people use simulated equipment, in simulated environments.
In this paper we will describe the Constructive Simulation used in the planning and decision making pro- cesses and, in the computational execution of the Emergency Plans of the different administrative levels, through the software “SIGEN” for an effectively and efficiently Management of Disaster Risk (MDR).
