Abstract

Technological advancements play a significant role in shaping civilization and impact multiple domains, including defense. War, as Clausewitz noted, has a changing character but an
unchangeable nature. This article evaluates the effects of changing operational environments on military operations, particularly those developed at the operational leadership level. It does this by
visualizing the major difficulties that the country faces today and in the future. To achieve this, ideas like multi-domain operations, fifth-generation warfare, joint force preparedness, new battlefield
capabilities, and, lastly, mission command and its connection to command and control were examined.
