Resilience in the military: implications for effective force recovery.

Abstract
Combat Support incorporates several logistical and administrative functions that allow personnel and materiel maintain combat efficiency to the fulfillment of the mission. Within the various military operations, the recovery of force is vital, because of the stressors to which personnel are exposed both in war operations, as well as other than war, considering the characteristics of the current operational environment and the relevance of the cognitive. Resilience is proposed as a competence that every soldier must have; considering the uncertainty, risks and situations associated with the military function, where tasks that involve risks and sacrifices are voluntarily assumed, to the limit of the oath that could implies giving one's life for the country. This article highlights the Combat Support function as an input and contribution of resilience as a protective factor.
