German internal propaganda, effect on its troops in Normandy

Abstract
The German command exploited the internal propaganda during the preparations and actions after the landing in Normandy, with the purpose of obtaining commitment, conviction and sacrifice of its troops. For this, the article seeks to evidence it from two perspectives; first, showing various methods used, such as distortion, creation of expectations, exaltation and threats, modalities contrary to the precepts of good leadership to correctly inform their own troops. The second perspective, proving that it acted and influenced transversally soldiers of different grades, origins and units. The methodology used was bibliographic analysis, to finally obtain conclusions with use value. It constitutes a little explored theme and an opportunity to generate knowledge about this battle, history, strategy and leadership.
