Command and control challenges in the field of multi-domain operations

Abstract

The multi-domain operations concept has been taking a presence in the current scenarios, giving new connotations of employment and action to big magnitude armies confronted with a similar strategic level adversary. The simultaneity and sequentiality of this type of operations become fundamental pillars in its action, seeking the integration of the maximum capabilities. It is in this topic that exists the necessity to generate sequential, coordinated and integrated operations, where command and control takes a primary role and where the correlation between Command and Control (C2) and the multidomain is well founded, objective of this publication. The contribution of the analysis carried out is the presentation of factors to be considerate for their understanding and eventual strategic application, a situation that can be performed according to each reality. The role of command and control will then be seated as a force multiplier, allowing synchronized efforts to converge targeting the disarticulation of the adversary
