Security and Defense in the fourth Industrial Revolution

Abstract
The fourth Industrial Revolution, based mainly on new technologies and digital innovation, is producing transformations that impact all sectors of the world society and their effects are evident in the States, in the intermediary organizations and projected to the people. These initially material effects are also demanding an approach to the practice of lateral thinking, to the practice of strategic thinking, to coexist with uncertainty and to develop greater capacity to take risks. The political and strategic aspects are not unrelated to the effects of this phenomenon, nor are the security and defense of the State, at the same time major challenges are foreseeing in this area. All these issues will be addressed in this article.
