COVID-19 and Operational; Argentine case

Abstract

This article analyzes how the Republic of Argentine have faced the COVID-19 pandemic, from the perspective of Operational Art and Design (EDO), taking as reference the military doctrine and the contribution of the Higher Joint War School through its publication "Art and Operational Design: a way of thinking about military options" (2017), in order to demonstrate the usefulness of the method. It also shows how to structure an eventual Crisis Community Support Plan (equivalent to a Campaign Plan), as an academic exercise in a real emergency situation. The method allows demonstrating the necessary link of military with no military actions to support the community
