Strategic Considerations of the Territorial Integrity Maintenance and its Relationship with the State Security

Abstract

Thisarticlediscussestheconceptualscopesofthenationaldefenseobjectivesrelatedtothe territorial integrity maintenance in peacetime, through the analysis of some strategic considerations. In the same way extrapolates the discussion toward the State security area in order to review the way as the armed forces and in particularly the Chilean Army could cooperate with their capabilities, in the face of an evident lack of security at the nationals borders which has remained dangerously upward in the latest decades.
