Abstract
The 1982 Malvinas War exposed serious deficiencies in the joint command structure of the Argentine Armed Forces, revealing a profound fragmentation among the land, naval, and air components. More than four decades after the conflict, this article analyses Argentina’s doctrinal and operational transformation aimed at overcoming those limitations. It reviews the main institutional reforms, the development of joint thinking, the capabilities achieved, and the remaining challenges to consolidating an effective joint force model in today’s strategic environment.
