Abstract

This article explores logistics optimization in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, analyzing how the implementation and use of drones has impacted and redefined sustainment operations on the battlefield. Drones have exerted a significant influence on the efficiency and effectiveness of operations by transforming the way that frontline forces are supplied. We will examine various aspects that support this claim, from the agility in the supply to the improvement in the security of the troops, and we will consider how this evolution in military logistics could have broader implications in the future of armed conflicts.
